Difference between HIFU and other treatments?

Compared to other face lifting treatments, HIFU can target the SMAS layer (superficial musculo-aponeurotic system) of the face, delivering energy to the deepest depth.
The high-intensity focused ultrasound energy can reach 4.5mm under the skin to create focal areas of contraction for facelift outcomes. In fact, the SMAS layer is the same layer targeted when doing a surgical face lift.

The only drawback is that the treatment is not suitable for everyone. It is not suitable for patients with a BMI of greater than 30 or pinch-able fats of more than 3cm.

Prior to the treatment, numbing cream may be applied to ensure patient’s comfort. The duration is approximately 30-40 minutes with minimal downtime and pain.
During the treatment, you may feel slight tingling or “ant bite” sensation. Your skin might be slightly flushed after the treatment; however, it will subside within a few hours.

Is HIFU Painful?
Overall, it is a minimally painful treatment. Numbing cream is not required for the majority of patients.

The majority of patients find it tolerable and can return to their usual routines immediately after treatment.
How many HIFU shots are required?
